Dan Nguyen took it upon himself to compile a list of museums, zoos, and other cultural activities in NYC that operate with free admission at particular hours of the day (or days of the week). He created a very, very handy list with map at I Heart NY Museums to share. The best part is that it’s not just a static list. You can sort the museums by day of the week and hour so that you can literally hop from one place to the next without spending any money for admission.

This is incredibly useful to a New Yorker like me, so I can only imagine what this site must be like to those who are visiting the city and wanting to know when and where they can get the most entertainment for their buck (well, for free).
